Warranty
Limited Warranty for Commercial Restaurant Furniture
These are the terms of our limited warranty, written for the people who manage furniture after it's installed.
Coverage
The furniture is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Examples include structural faults, failed welds or joints, incorrect hardware, and finish or upholstery defects present on arrival. Coverage extends to the original purchaser only and isn't transferable. It assumes normal commercial use in a foodservice or hospitality setting, with routine cleaning and maintenance.
Exclusions
- Misuse or abuse, including standing on seating or using it for purposes other than sitting
- Items altered or modified without written authorization
- Damage from improper cleaning agents, or from inadequate maintenance and care
- Unfinished or unstained products
- Components purchased separately rather than as a complete item
- Natural movement of solid wood, including cracking, checking, or warping of butcher block and plank tops caused by humidity
- Outdoor exposure of indoor furniture, and outdoor furniture left without cleaning, covering, or seasonal storage
- Freight damage, which is handled as a carrier claim
- Normal wear, such as scuffing, fading, and upholstery wear
Scope in practice
The warranty is about condition at delivery. A chair that arrives with a cracked weld is covered. A chair whose vinyl splits after two years of daily service has worn out, which isn't a defect. A table top that checks along the grain after a dry winter is behaving like solid wood. When it's unclear which category a problem falls into, send the photos anyway and we'll assess it.
Notice periods
Inspect shipments on receipt. Report shortages and defects in writing no later than three days after the shipment is received. Concealed freight damage carries a separate 24-hour reporting window, described in the receiving procedure. Late notice makes it hard to separate a defect from damage that happened after delivery, which is why the windows are short.
Claim documentation
Email a claim to sales with:
- The order reference and delivery site
- A description of the defect and how the item is used
- Photos of the full item, the defect at close range, and any product labels
We may request return of the defective part for evaluation.
Remedies and limits
If an item is found defective under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair it, replace it, or issue a credit for its purchase price. That remedy is the full extent of our liability. Consequential and incidental losses, including lost profit and loss of use, aren't covered. This limited warranty is given in place of all other warranties, express or implied.
Records to keep
File the order confirmation, the signed bill of lading, and any delivery photos with your asset records. Together they establish the purchaser, the delivery date, and the condition on arrival, which are the three facts every claim depends on.
Maintenance that protects coverage
Follow the cleaning codes on fabric, use mild soap and water on vinyl, touch up powder-coat chips, retighten fasteners periodically, and keep solid wood away from heat sources. The materials reference lists care by material, and the returns policy covers items that aren't defective.
